Financial Accountant - 6 month contract - Recognised Brand

$100k-$120k + super

This represents an excellent opportunity for a driven, highly motivated and qualified Financial Accountant looking for a long term contract in which you can make a difference and add value to the team. This is a key position within the finance team which reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Complete month end and year-end financial accounting processes for various entities.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and detailed financial analysis, investigations and commentary.
• Take the lead on budgeting and forecasting. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support AP, AR and Assistant Accountants as required. Maintain the Fixed Asset register.
• Assist with taxation functions for (including income tax, GST and FBT).

To be successful, you will be CA/ACCA/CPA qualified or close to qualification with a team player attitude. You will have proven experience in a commercial environment and ideally but not essentional a background in a Chartered Accounting firm. High level Excel skills and communication skills are a must.
